How Electrostatic Disinfection Works

This cleaning method atomizes cleaning solutions to produce an electrically charged spray that can wrap around surfaces of all types for an even coat. As the chemicals exit the electrostatic sprayer, it gives a positive charge that is attracted to available negative surfaces. The spray attaches to and collects negatively charged surfaces. The spray attaches to and collects negatively charged unwanted particles, which are then removed from the environment with a specially designed apparatus. Surfaces that are extremely covered in cleaning solution will repel the spray, making the method extremely efficient.

Corona Virus and Covid 19 Cleaning

Multi-Clean Commercial Cleaning Services in Tulsa and Oklahoma City are prepared to take care of your needs for Coronavirus and Covid 19 Cleaning. Although the CDC has not yet determined any type of kill claims for Coronavirus and Covid 19 Cleaning, the products that are available in today’s market have been proven to kill the 2009 Pandemic H1N1 virus and the influenza A virus. Also newer chemicals are also capable of killing the HIV virus on surfaces.

The current product that Multi-Clean Commercial Cleaning Services is using for the Corona Virus and Covid 19 cleaning is called hqdC2. This product is made by Spartan chemical company. Spartan has a great history of producing fantastic products to address the many cleaning issues that we face today in the cleaning industry. hqdC2 can claim that it can kill the pandemic H1N1 virus as well as the influenza A virus.  You can read more about hqdC2 and other chemicals that Spartan makes at their website HERE

Methods

The first method and opportunity to fight the Corona virus and covid 19 is the electrostatic cold fogging method. Electrostatic spray technology is one of the most effective ways to combat virus cleaning. This method allows the appropriate disinfectant and sanitizer to wrap around and evenly coat most any surface. This allows for a more complete clean.

How the Electrostatic Cold Fogging works is that an electrode atomizes the cleaning solution when it is coming out of the machine. This creates a positively charged particle that is floating through the air. These positively charged particles then begin the search for a negative type material. Negative material includes tables, desks, chairs, and pretty much any type of furniture within your office. It attaches to wood, metal and countertops.

The cleaning team wears all of the appropriate personal protection equipment, otherwise known as PPE. The equipment includes, but is not limited to:

  1. Protective gloves
  2. A Tyvek full body suit
  3. A full face mask with filters

The other method for Coronavirus Cleaning and Covid 19 Cleaning by Multi-Clean Commercial and Janitorial Cleaning in Tulsa is the most basic of cleaning. The team comes in with the hdqC2 in bottles and gallons and the appropriate wiping materials. The 2 best wiping materials are paper towels and microfiber towels. It is recommended that when wiping with the appropriate disinfecting and sanitizing chemical that you wipe in one direction to completely remove any virus or bacteria that might be on the surface.

Kill Claim information for Corona virus and Covid 19 cleaning

Multi-Clean Commercial and Janitorial Cleaning Service in Tulsa has many teams lined up to clean offices, medical, church and industrial settings for the Corona Virus and Covid 19 cleaning protocol.

As a reminder because the CDC has not determined a kill claim for the Corona Virus and Covid 19, so there is not a 100% guarantee that this virus will be killed. However we can look back at the hdqC2 virus cleaning kill claims and see that this product when used for commercial and janitorial cleaning in Tulsa kills very similar viruses including the H1N1 2009 pandemic virus and also the influenza A virus. These products also kill the HIV virus on surfaces.

Summary

Having a good Commercial Janitorial Cleaning Service in Tulsa address your cleaning needs for the Corona virus and Covid 19 cleaning is very important. Safety must always be at the forefront of thinking when forming a plan for virus cleaning. Wearing gloves, wearing a full body Tyvek suit, and a full face mask with filters is critical in the electrostatic cold fogging cleaning method for virus cleaning. It is also important to note that no other individual can be in the same room while the electrostatic cold fogging is being performed for Coronavirus cleaning and Covid 19 cleaning. It is best to wait a minimum of 1 hour after applying the disinfectant and sanitizer to the office area. There is very little residue that is left after the electrostatic fogging has been applied for Coronavirus cleaning. It is better to not immediately clean the surface to allow the sprayed chemical to continue to work.

The safety protocol for the 2nd version of coronavirus cleaning is one of wiping with the appropriate disinfecting and sanitizing chemical. In this case we will most likely be using the hdqC2. There are other chemical options at the Spartan Chemical website at www.spartanchemical.com

When performing the 2nd method it is important for the commercial cleaning service Tulsa staff to be wearing the appropriate glove. If at any time, the glove becomes torn or ripped, the glove must be taken off and replaced by a new glove. One of the most popular types of glove for cleaning is the more popular nitrile glove. Gloves can come in all types and shapes and sizes. They come in small all the way up to Extra Large. They vary in the types of rubber that are in the gloves. Some commercial cleaners prefer a glove that does not have any powder while other do prefer since their hands may sweat from time to time.

Also when cleaning with the 2nd method its best to use an N95 mask. An N95 mask or respirator protective device is designed to get a very close facial fit to filter out airborne particles. The N95 designation means that when the masks were tested that at least 95 percent of very small test particles were not able to pass by the mask. When the N95 masks are not available when doing cleaning for the corona virus or for covid 19, then a basic facial mask is acceptable for the cleaner to use.

When spraying the disinfectant and sanitizing solution it is also important to keep away from the skin. It is best to wear long sleeves and pants when applying the solution. When wiping down surfaces it is best to first spray the solution to the paper towel or to the microfiber towel and not to spray directly on the surface.
